Amazon.com Product Description
Tough and rugged enough for any workout regimen or outdoors training, this shock-resistant Casio Baby-G women’s sport analog/digital watch (model BG1500A-1BV) is also very precise thanks to its atomic timekeeping features. It features a stylish black resin case and silver top ring, which frames a black dial face with three digital subdials (which display day, date, and the 1/100-second stopwatch). Other timing features include world time from 48 cities, 12/24-hour display, autocalendar (to the year 2099), and hourly time signal. This watch is water resistant to 100 meters (330 feet), suitable for recreational snorkeling. It also offers a tapered black resin strap, scratch-resistant mineral crystal, and AfterGlow LED electro-luminescent backlight.

This radio-controlled watch receives a time calibration signal transmitted from Fort Collins, Colorado, and signal reception is possible within a radius of about 2,000 miles from the Fort Collins transmitter. You can choose to automatically receive this signal four times a day, or manually update the watch to the atomic clock.

I ORDERED THIS ITEM AND THE BOX CAME EMPTY! IT WAS SIGNED FOR SINCE THIS HAS NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE. IT MAY HAVE BEEN STOLEN IN TRANSIT-I DO NOT KNOW. HOWEVER WHEN I CONTACTED THIS SELLER, IRECEIVED ABSOLUTELY NO REPLY. THEY MAY OR MAY NOT BE THE ONES RESPONSIBLE, HOWEVER THE COMPLETE LACK OF COMMUNICATION IS POOR SO I GAVE THEM A RATING OF 1 BECAUSE OF THE LACK OF THE COMMON COURTESY OF A REPLY. I ORDERED ANOTHER IDENTICAL WATCH FROM AMAZON SINCE I REALLY WANTED IT FOR MY DAUGHTER’S BIRTHDAY AND IT WAS DELIVERED PROMPTLY AND INTACT. IN FUTURE, I WILL TRY TO DEAL DIRECTLY WITH AMAZON.

For starters, I will say that this is definately a large watch…it is man-sized. However, given that oversized watches are in fashion right now for women, I guess we’re lucky! The features on this watch definitely make up for it’s lack of style. I love the atomic timekeeping, the fact that my watch automatically updates itself when the time changes. I do wish Casio would make this watch with a stainless steel band that maybe looks a bit more feminine, but hey, the only watches I’ve found with the same features that do look feminine are $400 and since I don’t want to pay that much, I will enjoy this alternative.

The watch is great, no too big at all, but I give it three stars, because the watch hands do not go to the time set, but the minute one is about two minutes and a half ahead of the time that I manually set!??

Does perhaps anyone have the same experience? How to repair this?

P.S. They told me at Casio that the hands can be set manually, so the digital and analog times are the same now by the very second. The instructions are available at: [...], page 4, left column. :)

I like this watch pretty much. It is simple, yet somewhat stylish for everyday use. A little confusing to figure out and the directions are absolutely worthless. Sometimes my 3 year old pushes a button and messes the whole thing up. How can one button do such damage?

I love my Casio Baby G! I purchased it for a fun, everyday watch. It goes with everything, is light weight and very durable. I own many watches and I always seem to gravitate towards the Baby G’s.
